Monica Gower oversees the accounting department for Toll Brothers Apartment Living and its national portfolio. She is a real estate controller with 16 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, strategic planning, technology integration, and budgeting. Monica oversees all accounting activities from acquisition to recapitalization and disposition and is an integral team member in working through technical accounting transactions and complex joint venture structures. Since joining Toll Brothers in 2016, Monica has worked in various capacities within the accounting department and her leadership has directed many of the division’s business improvement initiatives. She is currently responsible for the fiscal management of the portfolio, with a value of $12B.
Prior to joining Toll Brothers Apartment Living, Monica was a Manager at PwC, working in an assurance services capacity in their retail and consumer products group. Her audit clients included large publicly traded Fortune 500 consumer products companies, one of which was taken public on the New York Stock Exchange. Monica has extensive experience working through technical transactions, qualified opportunity zones, supervising contract negotiations, streamlining processes, developing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiencies, and managing cash flow.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton and is a Certified Public Accountant.
