Sumesh Behl leads internal and external project teams through entitlement, design, permitting, construction, and lease-up phases for Toll Brothers Apartment Living in the Southern California and Utah markets. As Director of Development, Sumesh currently oversees the execution of the development of a 37-story luxury multifamily project in San Diego and is responsible for managing divisional processes, overseeing due diligence efforts, project finances, and execution strategies of multiple projects in multiple regions.

Prior to joining Toll Brothers Apartment Living in 2019, Sumesh worked for Southern California-based Bernards, where he led development on two of the firm’s largest projects in the market.

Sumesh earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering Osmanabad. Additionally, he earned a Master in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management from California State University – Long Beach.
