Dustin Aukland is responsible for sourcing and acquiring development sites for off-campus student housing in western U.S. markets.
Prior to joining Toll Brothers Apartment Living in 2018, Dustin was Vice President at Cadence Capital Partners. He was responsible for securing equity for middle-market clients on new development projects. Prior to Cadence, Dustin worked for University House Communities as Vice President of Acquisitions. During his time with UHC he was responsible for approximately $500 million in acquisitions of student housing and approximately 4,700 student beds. Dustin has been in commercial real estate since 2004 and has worked on $2 billion of acquisitions and asset managed student and market rate portfolios of more than $1 billion in value.
Dustin earned a Bachelor of Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from DePaul University.
